I'm the biggest animal lover on the planet! Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted a dog. Most girls dream about their wedding day during childhood, but I dreamed about getting my first puppy! I finally decided this year to make that dream a reality. I am a member of the Humane Society, and have volunteered at many animal shelters over the years, so I knew I wanted to adopt a homeless pet. I found Baxter, a homeless Boston Terrier/Schnauzer mix on Petfinder and just knew he was the little guy for me! I fell in love with his photos, and when I noticed that he had the same birth date as me, I believed it to be fate! Within a week, I had officially adopted Baxter, and I couldn't be happier. I couldn't imagine life without him! He puts a smile on my face every single day and truly is my best friend. Thanks Petfinder, for making this adoption so easy and wonderful!
