Recently I came across this story that made me smile. It also got me to thinking . . . why do some people have the impression that kids and dogs can’t live in the same household harmoniously?

Bill is an adoptable French Bulldog in Chester Springs, PA
I think that there are definitely some extra steps parents need to take to ensure both their pets and children are safe, but that doesn’t mean it can never be a good match.
Be sure to talk to the shelter or rescue before adopting a pet to see if they know how the dog is with children. And of course, dogs and kids playing together should always be supervised by an adult.
Happy adopting!
